This is the national campaign to quit smoking helpline. You may be familiar with their commercials. They emphasize creating a quit plan and having a quit coach. Call now. They also have information about local quitting resources. Perhaps you or someone you love should call their quit smoking helpline today.

SmokeFree.Gov

 This government webpage provides information about studies conducted and being conducted about smoking. They provide information about obtaining expert help to quit smoking.

Provident Living-Addiction Recovery Program

A religious adaptation of the principles used by alcoholics anonymous.  Free, ongoing, and confidential Addiction recovery support meetings, sponsored by LDS Family Services, are held throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and Mexico.  Group members meet to help one another overcome and recover from their addictions.  Meeting times and locations are available and updated monthly.  A free pdf download is available on their site that contains a wonderful guide to overcoming addiction. It can be directly applied to help you quit smoking forever.

American Lung Association – Quitting Smoking

The American Lung Association’s main page for the fight against tobacco. Find information about local chapters and help to quit smoking.

E-therapists

Online therapists and counselors.  E-therapists has therapists who include licensed physicians.  Counseling is available in three different forms.  Private online chat, e-mail, and phone counseling.  Email sessions start at $39.95 for 1 session, and online chat sessions start at $55 for 1/ 30 minute session and $85 1/ 60 minute session.
